What We Do
LIT Project
Literature Inspiring Tomorrow (LIT Project) is using the Guided Learning to teach children to learn English reading. Our curriculum combines with the 17 sustainable goals of the United Nations, letting children understand how to be a global citizen.
AI Classrooms
We aim to bring educational resources to every child in Yunnan. Our next step is to use AI technology to reduce the educational cost so that every child can easily access to the classroom with a simple tablet.
Online Resources
We try to provide as many online free resources as we can to young students around the world. The materials includes virtual class recordings, children's books, audio courses and so on.
Empower Girls
Through education, Lumina Campus wants to empower every young lady to be a future leader. Every girl should take the advantage of education and be the future leader for themselves.
About Us
Lumina Campus was originally founded in 2021 by Yifei Wu, a junior high schooler from Yunnan, China. As a female international student, Yifei understood the importance of being educated and how rare it is to access quality educational resources in rural areas. She created Lumina Campus to be a platform to provide equal opportunity for every child. With technology, learning could be access by anyone anywhere in a very low cost. She began our initial LIT porject to bring English learning to children in poverty areas.
Katelyn Liu, a high schooler from New Jersey, succeeded Yifei as leader of Lumina Campus in 2024. With a background working with shelters for children of teen mothers, Katelyn saw a great need for literary resources to support not just intellectual development but also emotional. She led our team to expanded our lesson plans to include language-level appropriate SEL learning content.
We want to light up the luminance of every child and light up our future.
Our Mission
